The Courts at Gibson Park Update:

The Courts at Gibson Park are now open!  The first phase includes 9 lighted pickleball courts and restroom building.  The courts are open daily 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.  We are as excited as our residents to be able to open this first phase of the park for pickleball.  

Courts 1 – 6: Open play

Courts may be occasionally reserved for City of Roseville programs or events.

Courts 7 – 9: Reservable courts

Open play unless reserved in advance. Anyone with paid reservation has court priority during their reserved date & time.

*To reserve a court, call (916) 772-PLAY (Pickleball court rental applications will be accepted starting Friday, 2/2, for rentals beginning Monday, 2/5).

Pickleball Rules
Courts are available on a first-come, first served basis. 
1. Pickleball courts are the used for pickleball play only.
2. Courts are open 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Please be courteous to our neighbors, and do not start earlier.
3. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
4. Appropriate attire, including shirts and clean, dry athletic shoes with non-marking soles.
5. During busy hours, players are encouraged to play doubles.
6. There is a maximum of four players on one courts at one time.
7. Personal bags and chairs should be contained within the designated spectator seating areas or outside of the courts.
8. The City of Roseville has priority use for sponsored events.
9. No individual, group, club, or organization shall occupy the pickleball courts for private league, tournament play, coaching services or private lessons without a permit from the City of Roseville.
10. The following are NOT permitted on the courts:
Animals, except for service animals.
Bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards, scooters, roller skated, in-line skates, radio-controller toys, or any other wheeled devices. Personal assistance mobility devices are permitted.
Food, gum, and beverages, except water. Plastic bottles must be removed from the courts.
Music that can be heard by others.
Smoking, chewing tobacco, vaping.
Alcoholic beverages.
Glass containers.
Profanity, bullying, abusive behavior or spitting.

When players are waiting, Please comply with the paddle rack system.
Place your paddle in one of the paddle racks at the entrance of the courts, starting at position #1.
Game play is to be doubles only.
The first four players in the paddle rack will move to an open court.
Player waiting in the queue may offer their spot in the line to the next player in the paddle rack queue.
Players wishing to play together should keep their paddles together in the paddle rack queue.
If a player goes to a court by mistake, they may return to their position in the paddle rack queue while waiting for a courts to open up.
Individuals found changing the order of the paddle stacking are subject to loss of playing privileges.
All games to be played to 11, win by 2 points.
Players to play a maximum of 2 consecutive games.
One player may not hold or occupy a court.
